- 500 g liver (beef or pork)

Making
- Peel and boil the potatoes. Drain them when cooked, and sprinkle with dill. While the potatoes are boiling, you can make the meatballs.
- Cut the liver into strips, soak in milk for 15 minutes. Drain, grind the liver and onion in a meat grinder or chop with a hand blender.
- Add salt, pepper, and an egg. Mix well. You will get a liquid batter, similar to that for pancakes.
- Spoon the dough into the hot fat. When one side is nicely browned, carefully flip it over with a wider spatula to fry the other side. Fry one side for about 3 minutes.
- Serve with boiled potatoes and your favorite vegetables.
