French toast (hmm, baguette in dough..) for the two of us ▢ 6 slices of white bread/baguette, preferably yesterday's, dry ▢ 2 eggs ▢ 150 ml of milk ▢ 0,5 banana (sometimes I replace it with a teaspoon of sugar) ▢ butter for frying ▢ a little vanilla sugar (optional) ▢ favorite jam/yogurt/sour cream/fresh berries (optional) Mash the banana and beat with the eggs, add vanilla sugar, add milk, beat. The baguette is best served yesterday's, dry, if the baguette is fresh, I recommend toasting it in a toaster, it is not necessary, but this way the slices are not soaked in the batter. Dip the baguette slices in the batter and fry in hot butter until nicely browned. Fry both sides. Serve with desired toppings - jam, fresh berries, sour cream, yogurt. We put fried buckwheat from the day before yesterday, leftover from the buckwheat unloading day, and yesterday's very delicious meatballs on plates. Everything is fried in a pan with a little butter. Beets go perfectly with buckwheat :) I always doubt and wonder what is best for baking? Butter is delicious, but is it healthy to bake with it? Oil? Then what? What do you bake with?

Banana bread, actually not bread at all, but the most delicious cake, muffin and everything delicious 😊 I like baking because you can add all kinds of toppings - I baked with chocolate in the fall, with blueberries on the weekend, and today - with dried cranberries and chopped pistachios. Always a new taste! Required products ▢ 240 g flour ▢ 10 g baking powder or one full teaspoon ▢ 10 g vanilla sugar or one full teaspoon ▢ 100 g brown sugar ▢ 120 g room temperature butter ▢ 2 eggs ▢ 2,5 bananas ▢ 50 g chopped chocolate, you can change it with your own, favorite toppings. For the weekend, I suggest making a mini-preparation - pulled chicken. A good hour of work, or rather 10 minutes of work and an hour of waiting and you have delicious meat for whatever you want, for burgers, pasta, and sandwiches. Pulled chicken I did it like this, a common recipe suggests using brown sugar and cumin. Instead of sugar, dried apples and prunes are tastier and better for me. I don't like cumin, I avoid it if possible. This meat is not part of some specific Asian recipe, so I calmly eliminate cumin. Required products 2 kg of chicken thigh fillet 2 onions 200 g of dried apples 100 g of dried plums 2 tbsp. paprika powder 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. garlic powder 0,5 tbsp. ground black pepper 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 250 ml broth Preparation Turn on the oven to 170℃.
