Cottage cheese biscuits

Ingredients

  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 100 g room temperature butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 arb.sh. baking powder
  • vanilla sugar

For a sprinkling

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 spoons sugar
  • 0,5 arb.sh. cinnamon

Instructions

  • Mash the cottage cheese and mix it with the butter.
  • Mix the flour with the baking powder and vanilla sugar. Add the flour to the cottage cheese/butter mixture in batches and knead into a dough. Place the ball of dough, wrapped in cling film or in a glass jar with a lid, in the fridge for half an hour.
  • Turn on the oven to 180℃.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0,5 cm and press into the desired shape.
  • Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper. When all the biscuits are done, brush them with egg yolk and sprinkle them with sugar mixed with cinnamon.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
