Ingredients

For dough

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 egg
  • 180 ml water
  • salt

For the filling

  • 1 kg potatoes the quantity may vary depending on the potatoes, if they are very floury, less may be enough
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • 2 spoons oil for frying

Instructions

  • Add the flour, the water, a little salt and knead the dough. Knead until it no longer sticks to your hands. Then cover with cling film and leave to rest for half an hour.
  • Peel the potatoes, finely grate them (as for roast potatoes)

  • Drain the grated potatoes through a cheesecloth.

  • Finely chop the onion, fry in oil.

  • Add the fried onions to the potato gratings and the egg and mix well. The stuffing is ready.

  • Roll out the rested dough, press the balls with a glass, add a teaspoon of filling and stick them together.

  • Place in boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes. Eat with sour cream or with sour cream and crackling sauce.
