Ingredients

  • 200 ml cooked pearl barley may be the balance from yesterday
  • 50 g mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tomato
  • a little butter for frying or a teaspoon of your favourite oil
  • fresh basil
  • salt, pepper

Instructions

  • Fry the pearl barley in butter (you can also use oil if you prefer), add salt and ground pepper.
  • Add the grits, sliced mozzarella and tomato to the plate, stir and season with basil. Basil goes well with the mozzarella and tomatoes.
  • Delicious!
