Sand dough biscuits - peanut rings

Ingredients
- 350 g flour
- 200 g room temperature butter
- 1 egg
- 120 g sugar
- 1 arb.sh. vanilla sugar
- ½ arb.sh. baking powder
For a sprinkling
- 1 egg
- 80 g roasted peanuts

Instructions
- Beat the butter well with the butter.
- Beat the egg into the butter, add the vanilla sugar and baking powder and mix.
- Add the flour to the dough in batches. Knead the dough into a workable dough. Refrigerate for half an hour.
- Roll out the cooled dough to a thickness of about 5 mm, press out the circles with a mould or a glass (the glass will have a smooth edge), place them on a baking sheet lined with paper, and squeeze out the centre with a small glass or a bottle stopper. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Bake at 180℃ for 12-15 minutes.
