Crumb cake

Ingredients

  • 450 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 arb.sh. baking powder
  • 500 ml jams

Instructions

  • Switch on the oven 180°C
  • Mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces, add to the dry ingredients, beat in the egg, add the sour cream and knead with a food processor/fingers or until crumbs form.

  • Place three-quarters of the dough in the tin, spread it nicely over the width of the tin and make the edges. Pour in the jam and top with the remaining crumbs.

  • Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes.

Naudinga

The warm cake is delicious with ice cream.
