Ingredients

  • 500 ml cherry pitted and stalkless
  • 2 spoons sugar for sprinkling on the cherries
  • 3 egg
  • 280 ml milk
  • 2 spoons sour cream
  • 120 g sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • salt
  • a few drops of almond essence
  • butter for greasing the tin
  • icing sugar for serving

Instructions

  • Turn on the oven to 200℃
  • Mix the cherries with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Make a dough of milk, sour cream, sugar, flour and eggs. Whisk well with a whisk to remove any lumps of flour and add the almond essence.
  • Grease a baking tin well with butter and spread the candied cherries on the bottom.
  • Pour the batter over the cherries. Place in the oven. Bake for about 35-40 minutes.
  • Once baked and slightly cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar. Delicious!
