Preparation time: 12 hours hours
Cooking time: 50 minutes Mins
Required products
- 300 g coarsely ground wheat flour
- 200 g wheat flour
- 100 g small oatmeal flakes
- 1 or salt
- 1 a spoon honey
- 5 g dry yeast
- 500 ml water
- wheat flour for kneading before baking
Use to prevent the display from turning off during cooking
Making
- Mix all the flour, oatmeal and dry yeast. Add salt and honey to the water and pour over the flour mixture, mix everything together. You will get a thick, thick mass. Cover with a lid or cling film and leave to rise for 12-20 hours.
- Before baking, we pour the risen dough onto a floured table (where we have space for rolling, kneading, etc.) and, folding from the edges inwards, we knead it a little. We form a round loaf and leave it to rise for about 1,5-2 hours.
- Half an hour before baking, turn on the oven (temperature 250°C) and place a casserole dish with a lid on the bottom shelf. We will bake the bread in it. It must be as hot as the oven.
- Once the oven is hot, carefully remove the pot (it's hot!!). Place the risen loaf in it, cut the crust with a sharp knife, and sprinkle with sunflower seeds or other favorite seeds.
- Bake covered at 230°C for about 40 minutes, then remove the lid (carefully - hot!!) and bake for another 10 minutes, reducing the temperature to 200°C.
