Baked liver with cream sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g liver (beef or pork)
  • 2 spoons flour
  • 1 onion
  • pinch of salt
  • a pinch of ground pepper
  • oil for frying
  • 200 ml cream

For Garnyr

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Beetroot medley

Instructions

  • Cut the liver into strips and soak in water for about half an hour.
  • Drain the soaked liver, roll in flour and fry in oil. Place in hot oil and fry on both sides until nicely browned. Pepper and salt.
  • Add the finely chopped onion to the liver.
  • When the onions are browned, pour in the cream and heat until it starts to thicken (2-3 min)
  • Serve with mashed potatoes and beetroot medley.

Naudinga

Fried liver is also delicious with other accompaniments such as buckwheat porridge.
